Installer doesn't allow for typo in password

The Python-based installer (I'm using the Linux version) asks me about the 1st user information. I've given an email address and a username, and then it's time to enter the password. After entering the password twice, it tells me that they don't match. I try again and again to type the correct password, but it keeps telling me it doesn't match the password I entered. WTF? Apparently I made a typo the first time I entered the password, and the installer is now asking me to repeat that typo. The only thing I can do is CTRL+C out of it an restart it...

RhodeCode Installer 0.7.0
-------------------------

Now I want to run the initial setup and create the first RhodeCode Enterprise user. The user will get administrator rights. For that I need to ask you the email, username and password for that user account. Please do not enter spaces to avoid issues.

Please enter the email address:
> my.email@address

Please enter the username:
> myname

Please enter a password for the user:

Please enter the same password again:
>
The password does not match. Please try again.

Please enter the same password again:
>
The password does not match. Please try again.

Please enter the same password again:
>
The password does not match. Please try again.

Please enter the same password again:

Please enter the same password again:

PS: restarting doesn't continue the installation, it tells me Rhodecode is already installed & the latest version. I have to go to "perform advanced actions" -> "Run initial DB setup again" in order to finish the setup.
