Hi,

I am trying to authenticate users over a LDAPv3 server on a new setup Rhodecode server 4.8.0.

As it says in the documentation, I have to enable rhodecode.lib.auth_modules.auth_ldap_group (corresponding egg rhodecode-enterprise-ce#ldap_group). But this egg is not available in community edition, am I right?

So is there another possibility to authenticate users over LDAPv3 with the community edition?

Best regards,
Ben

    Hi Ben,

Thanks for your message. It's actually mistake in our docs !

    EE edition has

    egg:rhodecode-enterprise-ee#ldap_group

    And CE edition has

    egg:rhodecode-enterprise-ce#ldap

So in the CE edition you can enable the LDAP via the button, but the full egg path is as above. The EE edition difference is that is has a user group ldap sync.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers
