Can files on a feature branch be edited?

I have a new forked repo with the tip on a feature branch. When I try to edit its .hgsub file, or any file for that matter, I get "You can only edit files with revision being a valid branch". The online documentation only references "edit on branch:default".
Is there some way to edit files on a feature branch via Rhodecode, or do I need to merge the original repo to default before I fork it?

    Hi Ian,

yes this is possible, just make sure you switch to the feature branch from the files page. THere's a "switch to" interface on this page. Once on a head of a feature branch it will be possible to edit any file.

    Hi Marcin,

Unfortunately the "switch to" selection did not help. I tried it with other repos as well, and noticed I can edit the branch files as long as the branch name does not contain a forward slash. The branch I'm trying to edit starts with "feature/..." which explains why it does not work.
Do you happen to know of any workarounds for this?

Infact it was an error, here's a commit that should fix that for now:

You can patch the same file in your instance until this is a part of next release.

Great, thanks for looking into that Marcin.
I'll test the patch as soon as I can.

Do you happen to know when the next release is planned?

I think in the next 5-7 days, so if you're not in rush you can wait :)
